I thought about deleting this page. Mainly because I’m not sure what this blog is about and partly because it should be clear what any blog about just by glancing at it, this making the About page redundant. In the end I decided to keep it, at least for now. Lucky you!

About the Crusty End.

The Crusty End is my wifes favorite piece of bread. I think some people call it the heel. I’ve heard that some people don’t even like to eat it. After living in America for the past several years I can understand why. Most of the store bought bread in this country is terrible. Most of the bread in this country has a shelf life of over a week. This cannot be natural. Do yourself a favor and slice the heel off a freshly baked loaf of bread.  I like it toasted with butter and jam. Sometimes Lemon Curd. It’s delicious.

I’m an average computer programmer by trade and use Wordpress to manage most of the sites I develop. In addition to being an excellent blogging tool, Wordpress can also be used to quickly build small and simple web sites. Wordpress is constantly evolving so I’m going to use this blog to write about my day to day experiences with the software. I never really paid attention in English class so my writing skills are not what I’d like them to be. Hopefully Blogging will help me improve in this area.
